their homework and conversations stay private. we don't sell student data. ever.
the compute daemon runs overnight, 10pm to 6am. that part is not optional — it's the exchange for free tutoring, so there's no off switch inside the app. if you don't want it running, uninstall tutyr and the contribution stops.
daytime is optional and off by default. your child can choose to also contribute during the day for extra tokens. that one is a real toggle.
we check our own work. tutyr's answers are verified against actual teacher grades, so we know when it's wrong.
